To be considered for this position, you MUST have significant experience in the following areas - no exceptions.

• IP Protocol stack related development - IPv6 experience a MUST! For example, you've opened an IPv6 Stack to make major modifications.
• Significant embedded software development using C
• Development experience in which 'very' limited amounts of both memory and processing power are available.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Direct experience with protocol stack development (a must) on resource limited environment embedded systems using the C programming language
• Very good understanding of hardware architecture, (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)
• Embedded applications development using C programming including low level device drivers and small operating systems
• Bachelor degree in either Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline

Desired "PLUS" Skills (but not deal killers):

• Experience implementing TCP/IP protocol a strong plus (a Principle Engineer that is not experienced with IP Networking will need a 6 month learning period)
• Stack development experience - more specifically, the protocol stack will use IETF based standards (in particular: 6LowPAN, ROLL, HTTP) so familiarity in these areas is a major plus.
• Direct experience with Wireless Communications
• Very good understanding of Encryption and Secure Communication (experience with any of ECC, RSA, AES, EAP a plus)
