Looking for an experienced Web UI Designer with strong Blend skills.
-
You should bring full software development lifecycle experience to the
table, starting with gathering requirements from internal and external
customers, graphical design, GUI development, and testing.
-
Understanding of software usability, SaaS applications, e-commerce,
enterprise dashboards, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and
e-mail automation is a plus.
Position Description / Responsibilities:
-
Design graphical user interfaces with a focus on usability.
-
Work within MS .Net environment using .Net controls, page templates,
etc. to develop well written HTML and CSS.
-
Work with product management to understand requirements and to design
and develop effective user experiences (brand new design as well as new
content based on a theme) from initial concepts through wireframes and
mockups to finished interfaces.

Accurately estimate, plan, and track work tasks and complete assigned
work on schedule.
-
Code, test, and deliver working application interfaces working as part
of a larger project in a team environment.
-
Participate in sales calls and customer presentations, as needed, to get
firsthand feedback of customer experience and collect requirements.
Required Qualifications:
-
5+ years designing web user interfaces.
-
Experience with Silverlight/Blend, HTML, JavaScript (AJAX), and industry
standard website creation tools (e.g. Dreamweaver)
-
Experience developing rich Internet applications using .Net and
Silverlight, including third party controls, such as Infragistics.
-
Experience developing web-based enterprise applications preferably for
e-commerce.
-
Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
-
Familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues.
-
Well organized and careful attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent working experience)
