Mile High View:

This position resides in IT operations with a focus on new feature
development versus lots of time spent on fixing bugs.

This could be quite an exciting position as there is a lot of new
development to be done, interfaces to be built that will automate
systems and handle data transfer between systems that do not exist
today.

Overall, you'll maintain, manage and develop internal operations
department systems by writing specifications,
performing application design, testing, and coding.

Systems include
manufacturing, returns, installation, billing and ERP databases.
Technical Skills/Requirements:
-
Must have 2-5 years of experience in object-oriented development
-
Must have solid Java based development experience.

Must be skilled in JDBC development
-
Must have knowledge of J2EE and associated concepts
-
Knowledge of database architecture and design (SQL, Oracle)
-
Ability to code software according to published standards and design
guidelines. (Java, VB, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.NET, XML)

Bachelors Degree, four years of college or equivalent in Software
Development or related field
